Founder / CEO

Based in Phoenix, Markus started Prezynt after seeing how stressful and impersonal gifting had become, setting out to help people give with more thought, context, and care.

He leads vision, product direction, and go-to-market — keeping Prezynt grounded in the emotional side of gifting while building a practical platform for wishlists, Muse recommendations, reminders, and Co-Gifting.

Amit Patel

COO

A product leader with a Statistics degree from Cornell and a track record launching products at companies like Insider and Justworks, spanning fintech, SaaS, and community-driven platforms.

At Prezynt, Amit leads product and community strategy — translating user feedback into features that strengthen connection, delight users, and scale with intention.

Tyshawn Despenza

Head of Engineering

A full-stack developer and technical leader who turns complex ideas into reliable, user-facing software across modern product stacks.

Tyshawn leads engineering for the platform — the systems behind Muse, wishlists, reminders, and Co-Gifting — with a builder's focus on scalable, thoughtful implementation.

Kanwaldeep Kalsi

Investor / Board Member

A serial entrepreneur and M&A executive with two decades in strategic growth and venture-backed startups. He led inorganic growth at HCL Technologies, founded ventures including Brain Gain Media, and completed Harvard's Advanced Management Program. Kalsi guides growth, partnerships, and investor relations.

Frustrated by stressful, last-minute gifting, Markus sets out to fix a broken experience built on guesswork.

2023 · Q3

Product begins

The core concept takes shape around AI personalization, social gifting, and affiliate shopping. The first working prototype is built from scratch.

2024 · Q4

MVP & beta launch

A private beta ships. With no marketing, 100+ testers join in the first week — validating interest and behavior.

Strategic foundation

Kalsi and Ralph join as early investors and board members. Prezynt formalizes leadership and plans for scale.
